I beg to apologize to His Excellency the Governor for delaying delivery of the accompanying letter written on the 14th November last.
My object was to obtain more information than I previously possessed as to the probable effect of discontinuing Ecclesiastical grants and allowances standing where they had been of long standing.
Such information, however, I find it difficult to procure; and I beg to submit my former letter for His Excellency's consideration.
